About Gb Hand-Pulled Noodles

If you’re wandering around downtown Toronto and craving something hearty yet comforting, Gb Hand-Pulled Noodles is the kind of place that instantly catches your attention. Located on Edward Street, this spot specializes in one thing done exceptionally well: authentic hand-pulled noodles made fresh to order. The moment you step inside, you can feel the energy of the kitchen, with the rhythmic pulling of dough setting the tone for what’s about to hit your table.

The menu revolves around different noodle styles, each crafted with a texture that’s both springy and satisfying. Whether you go for the thinner strands that soak up broth beautifully or the thicker ribbons that carry bold sauces, every bowl feels like a balance of tradition and flavor. A lot of guests love pairing their noodles with slow-cooked broths, rich with spices and aromas that make you want to linger over every bite. Others lean toward the stir-fried options, which bring together vegetables, protein, and sauces in a way that’s both filling and flavorful.

There’s also something incredibly fun about watching the process. Since the noodles are pulled fresh right in the kitchen, you know that what you’re getting hasn’t been sitting around—it’s crafted just for you. That freshness carries over into the taste, and it’s one of the reasons people keep recommending this place to friends and coworkers.

As for convenience, Gb Hand-Pulled Noodles makes it easy no matter how you like to enjoy your food. Dine-in lets you soak up the casual, buzzing atmosphere while savoring your noodles hot from the kitchen. Takeout, on the other hand, is a popular choice for anyone wanting a quick, satisfying meal in the middle of a busy day. Both options showcase the same consistency, which says a lot about the care that goes into every order.

The food was absolutely delicious. My stepfather ordered some spicy noodles, despite the waitress subtly asking if he was sure he could handle it (in much nicer words, of course). The noodles were indeed very spicy but so flavourful. The portion sizes were huge! If you can normally handle a medium, a small might even be too much to handle. Service was excellent, the food came quickly and our orders were taken quickly as well, but we didn’t feel rushed at all. The only “negative” thing, and negative is too harsh a word, is that the restaurant itself was very small. It was a very quaint place. But everything else more than makes up for the size of the place.

This place was great. It was actually the first time that I’ve been here. I came here with my friends and business associates two of which also love the place. It was very cheap for the large proportion of size that they gave comfortable seating very accommodating great service and the takeout to go was amazing.

Had the Dandan Noodles (thick noodles), Braised Beef Brisket Noodles (flat/wide noodles), Beef Rice Noodle Soup, and Braised Pork appetizer. Portions were very big, so the price is very reasonable. Food was standard; it was good but I wasn't overly impressed. It was our first time going to a Chinese hand-pulled noodle shop, and it was cool to be able to pick your own noodle shape (they have a page at the back(?) of the menu showing the different noodle types).

It was my first time here and I was really amazed. The noodles were very chewy, which was the kind of noodles I liked. The soup was very r good, there was a lot of beef, and the portion was large. 100% recommended! The boss was very nice

I had had a busy day, but was determined to find a noodle house for dinner and had seen this one online. It was close to where I was so I went to it. I sat on the outside patio. The wait staff was a young woman Who was excited to be asked her opinion about the menu. In fact, she asked if she could settle someone’s bill so she could then devote her time to explaining it to me, which was great. She recommended a certain dish and when I also wanted to order another she thought it would be too much and suggested I get it next time I came. Good advice. She suggested I order the beef and noodles. It’s on the first page of the menu and I think their signature dish. I was certainly not disappointed. Rich gingery broth with endless broad noodles and delicately sliced beef with cilantro and green onions. I also got her advice on the size of the noodles, which you can pick, And they brought me chili oil so I could organize my own level of heat which I also appreciated. Honestly, I’ve rarely had such an enthusiastic and helpful wait staff before. She was utterly delightful and explained about the noodles from her hometown and the culture Behind it. She was even helpful when I asked about certain etiquette when eating noodles. Anyways, suffice it to say the food was incredibly delicious, authentic and an excellent price. I will absolutely return and I highly recommend this very simple and very excellent noodle house. My bill came to $16 and I was full. I left a $10 tip for her and only wished it could have been more. Well deserved! on the way out, she passed me what I thought was a peppermint and I declined, but she insisted I take it and said it was taro with what feels like Jell-O inside and she was sure I would love it…and Just like everything else… She was right!

It was 1am and we were looking for a place that was still open. We stumbled upon this hidden gem, the broth was delicious, the noodles were nice and chewy. Amazing soup! The manager was very friendly and explained everything nicely to us.
